I don't really read or post to livejournal anymore.

What do I pay attention to?

I read my email. (I filter work email pretty harshly.)
I check my google reader feeds. (But that wouldn't get friends-locked posts, and I don't like half-hearted solutions. And I don't always read them all.)
I sometimes look at facebook. But not very much.

I actually tend to see twitter updates, oddly enough, but I don't really pay enough attention to notice if I miss any.

I don't believe there's much point to this; it's merely informational.

Our flight to London is marked as 'on time'. So we might actually get to London today.

(PS, myself and V will be in London today and tomorrow, staying in in Hyde Park region; normal communication rules should apply.)

I don't suppose any of you fine people has an XP install disk that, and I swear I actually mean this, I could use for the recovery console only? (I make no assertions about what I'll do with it if the XP install doesn't recover.)

Back home. Not dead. There are photos, I promise I'll intend to put them online. Anybody know some decent phote management software that lets you tag photos but doesn't try to be *too* clever?

Hm, I figure it's polite to mention that I'm in Papua New Guinea. We're visiting V's parents. We're on dial up, and it'spay b minute, so I'm being good and not being an internet nerd. It's good!

These days the real sign of a low motivation/productivity day is I read the last fortnight's worth of livejournal entries. (Which, admittedly, is a good period of time between low productivity days.)
